This Secretariat provides visa recommendations only for the registered NGOs. Also it will not make recommendations to extend visas for foreigners visiting non-governmental organizations through certain types of business visas (Business Visas) and tourist visas (Tourist Visas).

Visa Types:

1. Entry Visa:
   a. Short-Term Entry Visa: Visa recommendation will be given for a period of less than a month.

   b. Entry Visa: Visa recommendations will be given for a period of one month from the date of arrival in the country.
   
   
2. Residence Visa:
   Visa recommendation will be given for a period of the next 06 months after expiry of entry visa.
